Every year on Ozanam Sunday, members share a simple bread and soup meal to show solidarity with those facing food insecurity, followed by a Vincentian-themed discussion. This year, Spiritual Advisor Charles Moore spoke about Vincentian discernment—a spiritual approach to decision-making inspired by St. Vincent de Paul that emphasizes openness to God's will, careful evaluation, consulting advisors, and prayerful reflection. Discernment is viewed as using a “listening heart” rather than a “thinking head.” The St. Lawrence Catholic Church Conference in Fairhope, AL hosted the event.


The workshop and retreat entitled “One Society, One Body of Christ” was conducted in Gulf Breeze, Florida for the Southeast Region of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Two sessions were held with approximately 50 members participating in this event, engaging in fellowship, reflection, and collaborative activities within a tranquil environment.
